Laudato Si

Laudato Sì, Sustainable Development Goals and the Catholic Values in the CSTs

Extract from the IMBISA Laudato Sì Manual

Sustainable development means, economic progress and technological progress, but with social inclusion, meaning that everybody should benefit with environmental sustainability. Sustainable Development and planetary stewardship are part of our collective moral obligation, contained in the Catholic Social Teachings.

“For me as a professor of sustainable development, Laudato Sì is such a joy and such a gift because the Pope has framed his message and framed his warning and framed his call for moral action around the combination of a common home, a global economy, but one that is founded on social inclusion and founded on environmental sustainability”.
