World Communications Day was established by Pope Paul VI in 1967 as an annual celebration that encourage us to reflect on the opportunities and challenges that the modern means of social communication afford the Church to communicate the gospel message.
According to Pope Francis; Communicating in a cordial manner means that those who read or listen to us are led to welcome our participation in the joys, fears, hopes and sufferings of the women and men of our time.
Pope Francis has released his message for the 2024 World Day of Social Communications to be celebrated on Sunday 12 May 2024, focusing on the theme: Artificial Intelligence and the Wisdom of the Heart: Towards a Fully Human Communication. Pope Francis urges humanity to cultivate wisdom of the heart in the age of artificial intelligence.
Hence, IMBISA is cordially inviting all of you to an online presentation to unpack the message of Pope Francis on the 58th World Social Communication Day 2024 on Monday 13 May 2024 at 1200HRS (Harare Time).
